We began our Reins International journey in January 1996 with a small yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant in Sangenjaya, Tokyo. This was the beginning of 'Yakiniku Gyukaku', and the brand has since grown to boast the largest number of yakiniku restaurants in Japan, and has 825 locations in North America and Asia making it the world's largest chain of Yakiniku restaurants.
Through the success of "Yakiniku Gyukaku," we have developed a range of brands that break current industry norms by providing value-added products and services. Brands include "Shabu-Shabu Onyasai", "Izakaya Domadoma", "Kamadoka", and "Tonkatsu Kagurazaka Sakura".
In 2012, we joined the Colowide Group, a major player in the food service industry, We operate 1,195 stores both within Japan and internationally as of April 1, 2024.
While the restaurant industry has undergone significant changes, we remain committed to making our customers smile through food. As well as embracing challenges and evolution, we will never forget to show our appreciation to our customers, employees, franchise owners, and business partners.
We look forward to your continued support.
